Join us and have a hoot of a time at our 3rd annual Wildlife Calls! Gala during an evening of casual fun with wild changes this year! Space is limited, and the first 100 people to purchase a ticket will receive a special edition pint glass
Iowa Wildlife Center (IWC) depends on you to help us raise funds for our growing facilities on WildWay. Because of you, we have reached even more people with our education programs and will have our bat pre-release cage constructed and walk-in hibernation cooler purchased by the time we see you at this Gala. But, what wild project do we have in mind for this year?
Central Iowa does not have a facility that has the large outdoor flight conditioning cages for raptors, using up-to-date designs, required by the state and federal governments. We know you give a hoot (and a whinny and a scream), so help us help hawks and owls and other raptors by celebrating these awesome feathered birds of prey at our annual fundraiser! Funds will go toward building our first fantastic (and huge) flight cage on WildWay, just for these animals that come to us as orphans or injured adults.
Join us for an extraordinary night of celebrating wild lives, wild land and the human spirit! Learn about IWC's unique story and where we are going from here -- with your good support!
- Come and meet some new Wild Teachers (yes, one hoots and one whinnys!) and visit with some familiar ones and their human handlers
- Receive a lovely Limited Edition pint glass (given to the first 100 registrants, but everyone else gets their own special IWC logo pint glass)!
- Visit with IWC executive director, board, volunteers, wildlife experts and enthusiasts
- Hear inspiring stories, view photos and videos of our wild cases
- Enjoy abundant and fabulous hors d'oeuvres and tasty beverages
- Be led through the evening with the ever-supportive and wonderful Lou Sipolt, Jr., host of KCWI TV Channel 23 morning show "Iowa Live"
- Enjoy live music by incredible musicians that will please everyone
- Be a wild bidder during our charity silent and live auctions -- just in time for the holidays
- Help IWC honor friends and volunteers who have been making IWC's mission work for wildlife and caring people in central Iowa and beyond every. single. day
- Expand our community of caring hearts while you enjoy this special evening!

Don't be a Tardy Turtle! Online ticket purchase will close Thursday at noon, but you can still purchase your Tardy Turtle ticket at the door!!
